Requirements

Six Sigma training and experience
Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical safety awareness
Debur experience of multi-ported manifolds
Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook

013-Job Shop Machinist (North, AL) $30-40k
Summary: Machinist / CNC Machinist / Lead Machinist
Setup and operate HAAS and FADAL CNC mills & HAAS CNC lathe as well as setup and operate various manually
operated machine shop equipment when needed in a one off, high tech, job shop / mold shop environment. This is a
great opportunity for someone who is motivated to learn and grow. Leadership / Supervision experience a plus. Career advancement available. Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or related preferred but not required (based on experience). Our facility and working conditions are nice. Shop is clean and temperature controlled. Job Purpose
Produces machined parts by setting up and operating CNC machining and turning centers as well manually operated
machine shop equipment. Optimize setups, speeds & feeds, tooling, etc. as necessary. Assemble and finish working parts after machining is complete. Collaborate with Management, CNC Programmers, and other employees to improve shop performance. Maintain quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Duties
* Plans machining by studying work orders, required materials tooling, specifications, drawings, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances.
* Down load prewritten CNC programs, write and / or edit M & G code for mills and lathes, set fixture and tool offsets; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
* Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to standards and
documentation.
* Maintains specifications by observing machining; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening or replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
* Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;
troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Skills/Qualifications
5 to 10 years experience setting up and operating CNC and manual machine shop equipment. Lead or Supervisory experience a HUGE plus. Minimum 2 years HAAS and / or FADAL experience, including editing M & G code programs, REQUIRED; must be able to work to close tolerances.
CAD and/or CNC Programming software experience a plus.

035-VALUE STREAM SUPERVISOR (NORTHWEST, SC) $60K
1. Position Objective: Supervises and coordinates manufacturing goals with supervisors and operators in the
manufacturing of products ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency by adhering to all environmental programs and quality
systems. Assists in managing local plant resources to safely and economically meet the company's production needs with
respect to volume, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
2. Principal Responsibilities
a. Learn and be able to perform all jobs in the line as well as be able to instruct others on how to perform the
jobs
b. Monitor and manage Heijunka Boards, Action Boards, Graveyard, and monitor plant metrics from Site Metrics
board. Initiate any corrective actions necessary.
c. Collaborate with other product lines, quality, production control and engineering to ensure best in class
product
quality
d. Manage uptime, changeover, and adherence to cycle time
e. Lead and coordinate any Lean initiatives
f. Manage the production process to ensure processes meet safety standards, quality standards, environmental and
OSHA Regulations
g. Determine training needs and implement training programs as needed
h. Monitor the Time and Attendance system to ensure the accuracy of time reported by direct reports
i. Be immediately responsive to employee concerns and provide feedback in a timely manner
j. Work in conjunction with the Value Stream Manager and HR to recommend discipline to operators as required
k. Have an understanding of basic budget requirements for your area
l. Participate monthly in operations review meetings, including presenting metric information
m. Participate in cross-functional teams to acquire overall business knowledge
n. Perform any additional duties as required
3. Deliverables
a. Perform daily Gemba Walk and review scrap during Gemba Walk

k. Audit TPM process

4. Experience
a. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

5. Minimum Qualifications
a. Bachelor's degree in applicable field of study
b. 3-5 years manufacturing experience
c. 3 years experience with supervisory responsibilities
d. Lean Manufacturing and/or ISO experience
e. Experience in administering a Continuous Improvement program
