017 CMM Technician
1. Job Objective: The CMM Technician is responsible for complete operation and inspection of CMM machines, analysis of blueprints and other materials in order to inspect and test products.
2. Competence / Responsibility:
Performs dimensional evaluations using fixtures, hand instruments and the Coordinate Measuring Machine including set-up, programming and controls
Writes programs for the CMM using PC DMIS software or other associated software
Maintains dimensional documentation on PPAP
Maintains documentation on all calibration of fixtures and gages
Ensures part layouts and inspection fixture certifications are completed as scheduled
Maintains documentation on fixture certifications
Ensures accuracy of part and fixture layouts and reports by verifying proper nominal locations and tolerances
Identifies and maintains traceability of samples
Analyzes of component and assembly inspection fixturing to verify consistent dimensional locations
Ensures hand held measuring devices are calibrated, identified and located per gage tracking database
Interprets and complies with customer and internal policies, procedures, specifications, standards and drawings
Conducts capability studies of components and assemblies
Provides customer satisfaction by submitting accurate and timely reports
Other duties as assigned

4. Education / Experience
Understanding of injection molding and related processes preferred
Hands on experience with CMM machines including set-up, programming and controls
PCDMIS experience
Use of inspection equipment - gauge, air spindle, micrometer, etc.
Extensive GD&T experience
Knowledge of inspection methods
Analysis and interpretation of blueprints
Maintenance and repair of calibration equipment
5. Skills:
Ability to read and write in English and have basic math skills
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to work cooperatively with supervision, co-workers, customers, etc.
Ability to work in constant state of alertness and safe manner
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with CPS team members, customers, vendors, etc. in all aspects of daily operations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift/move 20lbs. or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Primary Job Function
The Quality Engineer will perform real time root
cause/corrective/preventive analysis actions to model line and customers
to enhance the quality and integrity of products. The incumbent will
drive a quality culture within facility for internal auditing of processes
and products through training and benchmarking of quality practices.
This person will provide strong leadership, serve as a mentor and liaison

031 QUALITY ENGINEER (NORTHWEST, AL)
you will be responsible for direct liaison with the customer (MBUSI, BMW) and Tier 1's involved.
Principal Accountabilities Include:
· Receiving customer concerns about electronic and mechatronic articles supplied.
· Performs article troubleshooting and issue preliminary analysis reports which are shared with the customer within their Extranet portal and internally via IQUIDOSS.
· Regular visits to customer manufacturing plants to review new issues, open issues and acceptance of corrective actions provided by the assembly plant.
· Coordinates preventive and corrective actions in the customer plant as well as in the external warehouses as required.
· Generates failure statistics for follow-up with the customer.
· Disputes tickets when the issue is unrelated to the assembly plant.
· Consults and utilizes information in the intranets, databases and networks in order to provide satisfactory answers to the customer.
· Maintains the confidentiality and property of documents.
Requirements
Preferred Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
· Four-year Degree in Engineering plus five or more years relevant experience in direct contact with the customer
· In-depth knowledge in CAN and LIN BUS systems applied to the automotive industry (Vector CANoe, others)
· Skills to troubleshoot electronic and mechatronic articles for the automotive industry
· Expert proficiency in customer systems (MB, Daimler, BMW) and Covisint portal for Tier 1
· In-depth knowledge of VDA 6.0, ISO-TS 16949, AIAG and customer specific requirements
· Excellent communication skills (read/write/speak) in English
· Ability to utilize software systems from customer, and providers (e.g. Vector)
Relevant experience in all of the following:
· Problem solving skills and experience
· Involvement in team work internally and with the customer
· Leading of problem solving teams
· Work experience under a similar type of high volume and pressure environment like automotive.
