Position Summary:

Essential Functions:
Oversee activities directly related to the assigned operational department.
Plan and direct all department activities aligned with company goals and objectives; coordinate with executive management and other department heads as required.
Monitor safety/environmental, quality, cost, and productivity objectives for department.
Continuously monitor established Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and develop continuous improvement plans to meet KPI targets.
Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire, and train new employees, or oversee these personnel processes.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with executive management and staff members as necessary.
Recommend and/or implement measures to motive employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
Develop department succession plan; identify organizational opportunities for personnel development.
Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) requirements.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.

technology issues. Forecast future production levels and required product capabilities based on inputs from the

Coordinates with Operations Managers and Supervisors regarding the daily work schedules. Assists in establishing priorities to ensure on-time deliveries.
